The lobby is conceived as a sequence of spatial layers rather than a single transitional space. Large architectural surfaces establish a clear sense of scale, while changes in proportion, material and enclosure gradually define the movement from entrance to the interior. Instead of relying on individual decorative elements, the composition is organized through the relationship between solid volumes, open passages and carefully framed views. These elements work together to create a sense of depth and progression, allowing circulation itself to become part of the spatial experience.
Material and light are used to reinforce the weight and hierarchy of the architecture. Stone, timber and darker surfaces are balanced through shifts in texture and reflection, giving larger volumes a physical presence without making the space feel visually dense. Integrated lighting emphasizes edges, recesses and transitions, revealing the depth of the construction while maintaining a restrained overall atmosphere. The result is a lobby defined less by individual objects than by proportion, sequence and the controlled relationship between material, light and space.
