MW Design Co. is a Taiwan-based design practice working across interiors, architecture and objects, seeking clarity through the relationships between space, material, construction and everyday life.

Founded from an architectural background, MW approaches each project as a process of understanding and reframing its particular conditions. Rather than beginning with a predetermined style or formal language, we look at programme, context, proportion, material, light and the way a space is inhabited as interconnected parts of the same spatial problem. Through this process, individual requirements are gradually brought into relation, allowing the design to develop from the project itself rather than from a predefined image.

Across different scales and typologies, our work is shaped through integration and reduction. Functional needs, technical constraints and material decisions are considered not as separate layers, but as opportunities to form a more coherent spatial structure — where one architectural gesture may resolve several relationships at once. As the project develops, elements are questioned, combined and removed until what remains feels necessary. We seek fewer, more precise answers: spaces and objects where complexity remains within the thinking, while the final experience becomes increasingly clear.
