The living area is organized around a freestanding architectural volume that performs differently on each side. Facing the living space, it forms a restrained media wall, while its reverse is integrated as shoe storage toward the entrance. By allowing two functions to share the same volume, the intervention becomes both a functional element and a spatial boundary, defining the relationship between the entrance and living area without introducing an additional partition.

Elsewhere, existing structural columns are wrapped in mirror to reduce their visual weight within the interior. Rather than emphasizing the columns as independent objects, the reflective surfaces allow them to recede into their surroundings, extending adjacent views and softening their physical presence. Together with the restrained material palette and controlled lighting, these interventions allow necessary functions and existing structural conditions to be absorbed into a quieter and more continuous spatial order.
