The residence begins by reconsidering the conventional division between rooms and the spaces left around them. Rather than accepting the remaining living and dining area as a fixed condition, a continuous functional spine is introduced along one side of the apartment. Entry functions, appliances, storage, media and the boundary toward the private rooms are absorbed into this single architectural framework, allowing multiple everyday requirements to share the same spatial structure while preserving a more open central living area.

Within this framework, the living space is designed to accommodate change rather than being permanently organized around a television. A retractable projection system allows media to appear only when needed, leaving the surrounding surfaces available for storage, objects and everyday occupation. A more expressive material and furniture vocabulary introduces layers of texture and visual density, allowing the interior to absorb the gradual accumulation of books, objects and personal belongings over time. The result is a compact residence designed not around a fixed image, but around a framework capable of accommodating an evolving life.
