The residence is organized through a restrained sequence of volumes, thresholds and continuous surfaces. Near the entrance, a rounded volume accommodates storage while softening the transition between circulation and the living space, allowing a functional requirement to become part of the spatial structure. This geometry continues across the ceiling, where subtle changes in height and curvature respond to existing beams and define the relationship between adjoining areas. Rather than introducing separate elements for each function, storage, enclosure and circulation are consolidated into a small number of architectural gestures, creating a sense of continuity throughout the interior.
A deliberately reduced material palette allows light, proportion and texture to carry much of the expression. White surfaces form a neutral field that shifts throughout the day, appearing crisp under natural light and warmer under artificial illumination, while timber is introduced selectively at points of touch and transition. Recessed lighting, concealed tracks and carefully resolved junctions are integrated into the surrounding architecture to minimize visual interruption. The result is an interior shaped through reduction rather than addition, where spatial character emerges from the relationship between light, material and construction rather than from decorative emphasis.
