W-01 is a modular shelving system developed through a simple framework of horizontal shelves, slender metal rods and exposed mechanical connections. Rather than concealing how the object is assembled, its structural components are allowed to remain visible, turning connection, support and construction into part of its visual language.

The repeated framework establishes a clear order while remaining open to different forms of occupation. Books, objects and everyday belongings gradually introduce variation within the structure, allowing the system to accommodate the visual complexity of daily life without losing its underlying clarity. In this way, the shelf is conceived less as a fixed composition of objects and more as a framework that can continue to change through use.
